The Executive Board Programme INSEAD is centered around the complexity of the future’s board work, good corporate governance and the competences it takes to play a valuable leading role as a board member.
The board work is often characterized by limited information availability, time pressure and a great need for prioritization of efforts. At the same time there are many different stakeholders in play, and the program therefore renders an understanding of how the board challenges, supports and cooperates with the company’s leadership in the best possible way.
The program renders a solid insight into the different types of boards and outlines specific and general issues within private, public, family owned and nonprofit organizations, first in a Scandinavian context and thereafter in a more international perspective.
You will obtain the tools to strengthen your performance, both individually and in interaction with the entire board, based on a thorough understanding of the mechanisms that underpin an efficient decision making in relation to the board. In recent years much focus has been place on the competence of Danish Boards and Board Members.
Structure of the Executive Board Programme
The program is very much designed for participants with a tight schedule. You will experience 6 days of intensive learning and interaction which includes your own challenges and tasks.
The experienced lecturers create a unique learning environment with inspiring and relevant cases that create a basis for reflection and knowledge sharing between the participants.
During the learning you will also be presented to fundamental theories, tools and models, that will be made palpable through group and case assignments to strengthen your role in the board here and now.
The Executive Board Programme training is conducted in English.
